Gary Keenan has done chainsaw carving for people all over the US (& even some in Europe)--animals, people, plants, objects--you name it, he can probably carve it!

Gary will carve nearly anything that reasonably fits the tree or log. He stays very busy with commissioned work, carving both topped trees and freestanding logs. For most freestanding carvings, he will supply the log. If you have a unique idea for your carving, Gary will sketch your idea to help ensure that you will have the carving you want. He enjoys the challenge of developing ideas that fit the tree/log, and that people will enjoy. On this site you will find many pictures showing Gary's versatility and sculpting talent.

He has done well in competitions, both in the U.S. and abroad. Gary was recently invited to participate in "Sculptree"/Westonbirt Festival of the Tree, to take place in August 2007, in England. This is quite an honor, since Gary is the only American to be invited this year, out of a total of only twelve wood sculptors invited. This event is not a competition, but a celebration of art and nature. Gary also carves at fairs, festivals, city events, and open houses. For this summer, Gary is scheduled to carve at fairs and festivals in four states.
