Large Ear of Corn
Newton, Iowa
This ear of corn is just off highway 14 south of Newton, Iowa.
The ear itself is eight feet tall, on top of a five foot base.....
carved from white oak. In the background you can see my pickup, scaffolding, and the handstand bear that used to be a fixture in the pickup. An ear of corn is a popular request at
fairs. In this case, the owner is a farmer in central Iowa.
